There’s a unique experience in making your own gear. From fabric and hardware, with shears and thread, you translate an idea into reality. It connects you to the process of designing your own equipment in a way that gives you more respect and curiosity for the materials used and the process itself.
Howdy,
I’m Glen, the guy who makes the bags. Well actually, I design, measure, cut, sew, finish, photograph, market, and ship the bags, but that’s too big of a mouthful. I am Nightingale Threadworks. One guy who wasn’t totally satisfied with what Big Bikepacking™ offered to lug your stuff down the ol’ dusty trail with, so I made my own.
As much as I’d love it to be, Nightingale Threadworks isn’t my full time gig, it’s a passion project and a creative outlet for me, and your support means the world to me.
